Our new exercise room is really shaping up nicely. Small hand weights
and an exercise ball were kindly donated by Sam’s Club, and
we have a new treadmill, too.
Among our guest speakers this month is Marion Cocke, Elvis Presley’s private nurse and author of the book, I Called Him Babe. On the educational side, opthamologist Jess Wessberry will be here to discuss cataracts, macular degeneration, and other age related eye problems. We will be returning to Brook’s Museum this month for another Tea and Tour, focusing on Tennessee arts and antiques. Memphis Symphony cellist, Jonathan Kirksey will honor his grandmother’s
birthday by performing for our July birthday party.
